Immigration team members
The team consists of six people and is supervised by Indrani Currie.
Indrani Currie - Advisor
Indrani joined the Law Centre in 2001. She brought with her significant experience gained mainly in asylum law, but also in other immigration and nationality issues. Indrani has substantial experience in representation at immigration appeals. Indrani also speaks Bengali, Urdu and Hindi.
Riffat Malik - Advisor
Riffat has particular experience in immigration and asylum law, including representation at immigration appeals. Riffat speaks Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi.
Keiran Laird - Trainee Solicitor
Keiran is a trainee solicitor and accredited immigration and asylum caseworker. He joined the Law Centre at the beginning of 2007 after gaining experience specialising in human rights and public law.
Javeria Ijaz - Trainee Solicitor
Javeria is a trainee solicitor and accredited immigration and asylum caseworker. She gained experience and knowledge in immigration casework during her time at the Border and Immigration Agency. Javeria speaks Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
