How to complain
We are committed to providing a high quality legal service to all our clients. When something goes wrong we need you to tell us about it. This will help us to improve our standards.
If you have a complaint or dissatisfaction with any of the following, please contact us with the details:
- The way you have been treated by the Law Centre
- The standard of service you have received from the Law Centre
- The quality of advice you have received from the Law Centre
- Anything else that has upset you and you feel has not been dealt with properly by the member of staff dealing with your case
How to make a complaint
- You can telephone or call in to the Law Centre and ask to speak to someone who will take details of your complaint
- You can put the complaint in writing and address it to Elayne Hill, Senior Solicitor, Oakwood House, St Patricks Road Entrance, Coventry, CV1 2HL
- You can contact the Law Centre via email at enquiries@covlaw.org.uk
How your complaint will be dealt with
- We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within two working days of receiving it
- We will then investigate your complaint and may ask you for further information
- We will send you a detailed reply with suggestions for resolving your complaint, normally within four weeks, or may invite you to the Law Centre to discuss and hopefully resolve your complaint
If you are not satisfied with the outcome
- You can contact the you can contact the Legal Ombudsman. Any complaint to the Legal Ombudsman must usually be made within six months of the date of our final written response but for further information please see the details below
